Organisation
We are one of the most experienced organizers of outdoor tours and can accommodate the wishes of our guests. We develop new programs as previously unknown areas of the country gain interest for visitors.
Team
Well-trained local guides, who know the country from Jerash to the distant sites of Wadi Rum lead the tours. With every outdoor group a cook treats guests to delicious local dishes.
Overnights
Sleeping accommodations vary by tour type. Depending on the program, guests sleep at carefully chosen camp sites (traditional Bedouin tents or tents for 2 and mattresses are provided) in beautiful natural settings or in recognized hotels.

Petra Caravan Tours
... was founded some years ago and is still run by Atallah and Kathi El Bedoul-Schaermeli. They are a Bedouin-Swiss couple, both very experienced in guiding tours and organising/operating tours and running a travel agency. They employ two to three local office staff apart from a number of local (mainly Bedouin) guides and cooks. |
